The Daltons are well-known as a pure blood family, and so the adults of the family are reluctant to let their children marry who they please in the fear that they will choose a muggle born. As a result, they have chosen for the two eldest children of the family, the twins Bethany and Joshua, to be married to someone suitable selected by them. The decision has been made for Joshua Dalton to marry Jaslene Malfoy, though they are still looking for an appropriate husband for Bethany Dalton.
